Saint Anne’s is proud to participate in a unique educational project called Project Infinity. Project Infinity is an initiative of a local non-profit organization called Inspired Practices in Early Education. Project Infinity supports connections between schools in Georgia and South Carolina that are interested in knowing more about the infant/toddler centers and preschools or Reggio Emilia, Italy. Through participation in the project, schools engage in ongoing dialogue and reflection about their own contexts and experiences with the goal of supporting the thinking and action of educators.
Saint Anne’s was initiated to participate in Project Infinity in 2004. In accepting the invitation, our school made two important agreements to the Project:
- A genuine school-wide interest in studying the experiences of the schools in Reggio-Emilia
- A willingness and ability to commit to the well being of the other schools in the Project.
Saint Anne’s is pleased to be in collaboration with the other participating schools of Project Infinity:
In Greenville, SC:
In Atlanta, GA:
Grant Park Cooperative Preschool
(Campuses in Grant Park and Cabbagetown)
Through these schools, Project Infinity engages with over 200 educators who work with more than 1,200 children and their families. The collaboration of these schools has enriched our work here at Saint Anne’s and presented opportunity to further our research as a community, including study groups to Reggio Emilia, Italy.
