St. Anne’s is proud to participate in a unique educational project called Project Infinity. Project Infinity is an initiative of a local non-profit organization, Inspired Practices in Early Education, Inc., founded by Dr. Margie Cooper. The Project seeks to build strong and lasting relationships of professional exchange between schools by uniting in ongoing study of the philosophies and experiences of Reggio Emilia, Italy. Engaging in ongoing dialogue and reflection about their own contexts and experiences supports the thinking and action of educators in the Project.
St Anne’s was initiated to participate in Project Infinity in 2004. In accepting the invitation, our school made two important agreements to the Project:
- A genuine school-wide interest in studying the experiences of the schools in Reggio-Emilia
- A willingness and ability to commit to the well being of the other schools in the Project.
St. Anne’s is pleased to be in collaboration with the other participating schools of Project Infinity:
In Greenville, SC:
In Atlanta, GA:
Grant Park Cooperative Preschool
(Campuses in Grant Park and Cabbagetown)
Through these schools, Project Infinity engages with over 200 educators who work with more than 1,200 children and their families.
Project Infinity and NAREA are hosting the Wonder of Learning: The 100 Languages of Children Exhibit from January – June 2014. Join us for this exciting opportunity! Information about the exhibit and accompanying initiatives will be posted as soon as it is available, so please check back!
