Announcing our New Director!

St. Anne’s Day School is delighted to announce that Rhonda Mitchell will be joining our community as Director starting June 14, 2021!

Ms. Mitchell currently is serving in her seventh year as the Head of the Early Elementary Division (EED) at Trinity School, where she oversees more than 50 faculty and staff and approximately 265 children aged three through First Grade. Prior to her role as EED Head, Ms. Mitchell served as Personalized Learning Specialist and before that as a lead Kindergarten teacher, both at Trinity.

Ms. Mitchell is a graduate of Spelman College, where she received a degree in Economics and the University of Georgia where she received a Master’s in Early Childhood Education.  Ms. Mitchell also attended the Reggio Emilia Institute at the Boulder Journey School and received her Certificate in Early Education Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education.

She is married to Rick and they have two children– a son, Donovan, a graduate of Trinity and Westminster, who currently attends University of Florida, and a daughter, Camille, also a graduate of Trinity, who is a junior at Westminster.

I’d like to extend my deepest gratitude to our Search Committee, the Day School Advisory Council, the Vestry, and our current Director, faculty, and staff for their incredible efforts in our Director Search. We are honored that Rhonda has chosen to lead our Day School and can’t wait to welcome her to our community this summer!

Yours truly,

Leah Tennille
